Rules & Regulations.

The Fourth Schedule.

  1. To furnish and keep furnished so far as conditions allow all the front windows of the Premises with curtains corresponding in style and colour with those in the front windows of the other Flats in the Building.

  2. No piano or other musical instrument or mechanical utility appliance to be used or played upon the Premises between midnight and eight a.m. and no piano, pianola, gramophone, television, wireless, loud speaker, mechanical musical instrument of any kind to be used so as to cause annoyance to the Lessor or occupiers of the other Flats in the Building or the Estate or after the use thereof shall have been objected to by the Lessor by notice in writing given to the Lessee or left for the Lessee on the Premises.

  3. No name writing drawing signboard plate or placard of any kind to be put on or in any window or on the exterior of the Premises without the written consent of the Lessor first obtained and no article to be placed in the windows which shall be visible from the outside of the Building and which in the opinion of the Lessor or the Surveyor is unsightly and not in conformity with the external appearance of the Building and no clothes or other articles shall be hung up or exposed outside the Premises or in the garden belonging to the Building.

  4. No television wireless pole or aerial or any other pole or wire or satellite dish or other receiving device shall be placed or affixed to the exterior of the Premises or in the garden belonging to the Building.

  5. No flower box flower pot or other object to be placed outside the Premises without the prior written consent of the Lessor first obtained.

  6. No bird dog or other animal to be kept by the Lessee upon the Premises which may occasion annoyance to any of the Lessor or occupiers of the other Flats in the Building or the Estate or which after the keeping thereof shall have been objected to by the Lessor by notice in writing given to the Lessee or left for the Lessee on the Premises.

  7. At all times to take steps in relation to the composition and covering of the floors of the Premises to avoid the transmission of noise. Such compositions and covering are subject to the Lessor’s satisfaction the Lessor acting reasonably. The Lessor shall have regard to the peace and quiet of the other lessees and occupiers of the other flats in the Building.

  8. To prepare and supply to the Lessee and any other lessee or under-lessee of the Estate copies of any additional rules and regulations made or to be made for good estate management.
